Privacy Policy & Security Architecture
Last updated: August 2026 • DualDesk Zero-Data Architecture
1. The Zero-Data Promise
DualDesk is engineered with a strict zero-data collection philosophy.
We do not track your keystrokes, do not read your messages, do not log your contacts, and do not route your internet traffic through third-party servers. All chat data remains strictly between your computer and the official WhatsApp & Telegram servers.
2. Data Storage: 100% On-Device
🔐 Local Privacy PIN
Your 4-digit PIN is stored locally in your PC application storage to power the physical screen lock. It is never uploaded to any cloud server.
💬 Chat Sessions & Cookies
WhatsApp and Telegram cookies and IndexedDB cache reside in separate sandboxed partitions on your local hard drive.
3. Network Transmission & Encryption
When using DualDesk:
- Direct TLS 1.3 / HTTPS connections are established straight to
https://web.whatsapp.comandhttps://web.telegram.org. - DualDesk does not inject ads, tracking scripts, or analytics beacons into your messaging webviews.
- Passkey / WebAuthn and unnecessary hardware requests are automatically suppressed to protect against tracking.
4. License Activation & Email Delivery
The only information processed on the web server during license activation is:
- Email Address: Used solely for delivering your license key receipt and enabling 1-click self-serve key recovery.
- Anonymous Hardware Hash: A non-reversible cryptographic hash of your system identifiers used to enforce the 2 PC workstations per key activation limit.
5. Developer Project Identity
DualDesk is published by Animal Analytics, an open independent software initiative by individual developers. We do not sell user data, do not monetize via advertising networks, and maintain a strict privacy-first architecture.
